Rastus Hsu<\/span><\/h2>\r\nI am a knitwear designer based in Taiwan.\r\n\r\nWhen I was a little boy, my mam owned a yarn shop and I often stayed in her store after school and once in a while, I would try to mimic my mam\u2019s knitting movement and tried to cast on and knit myself.\r\n\r\nEven though I was surrounded by the beautiful yarn all the time, my passion for knitting didn\u2019t appear until late 2013. I started designing and knitting hats, cowls, scarves\u2026etc and selling them in a local craft market in Taipei.\r\n\r\nAfter 4 years doing what I loved in the craft market, in 2017 I decided to write down the pattern of my own designs and sell them as part of knitting kits in Taiwan.\r\n\r\nSince then, I have received a lot of support and encouragement and it pushed me to step out of my comfort zone to also release my patterns in English.\r\n\r\nAfter 6 years in the knitting world, my passion for it isn\u2019t getting any less, instead I am getting more excited to incorporate my experience and aesthetic in my knitted designs and I hope to share this journey with you all.\r\n
