The colors, the textures, the infinite possibilities within each skein\u2026\r\n\r\nI love knitting cables. I love knitting lace. Cables combined with lace are my idea of a knitting nirvana. I have been designing knits ever since I first picked up the needles about ten years ago; my first \u2018swatch\u2019 was a sweater for my baby boy. Since then I fell in love with knitted lace design and created the short row method for shaping crescent shawls. My designs have appeared in numerous online and print publications, such as Interweave Knits, Jane Austen Knits, Twist Collective, Brooklyn Tweed\u2019s Wool People, and Knitty.\r\n\r\nI am a little bit of a nomad; originally from Europe, I\u2019ve lived in five US states and two European countries. I\u2019ve studied fashion design and I have an extensive background in studio arts and art history. All these travels and studies, along with my love of nature, continue to inspire my knitting.\r\n\r\nI love to help make lace knitting fun and manageable even for the beginner lace knitter and almost all of my designs are very easy to customize.
