Nancy Whitman<\/span><\/h2> \r\nI learned to knit and crochet at the tender age of eight from my paternal grandmother. Decades later I began to appreciate the gift she had bestowed. While I have explored many crafts - quilting, woodworking and stained glass, to name a few, knitting is the one that has always been with me. On a whim, I submitted my first pattern for publication to Twist Collective and, to my surprise and delight, it was accepted. Shani appeared in Twist Collective Fall 2011. Since then, I have been developing my own pattern line and even incorporated stained glass into some of the designs. Maybe one day I\u2019ll figure out how to incorporate woodworking! \r\n\r\nI also run the online yarn shop <\/span>Whitknits.com<\/a>. The shop offers a broad selection of yarns, patterns, books and Eucalan and I pride myself on providing excellent support and customer service.
